.CO Domain Names Renewal

I noticed lately that a huge amount of expiring .CO names, It’s seems like they are in season. This could be a problem to the registry to see many domains not getting renewed and of course less income. I’m sure many of the good ones will be pick up again but only to an extent. I think the issue behind it is the price. .CO names are relatively expensive to maintain, and especially if you have many of them. I personally had to let go couple of the names, but I still renewed my main ones.

This could be a good opportunity for those who missed the .CO boat last year at the registry landrush.

It’s little sad to see all those names let down by their holders, but it could be good if the .CO registry to revise their prices, and maybe make it more affordable.
