How Do I Register My Domain Names.

This is nothing new but I feel like writing my thoughts and share with my readers.

Who doesn’t like to hand-register domain names? I certainly do for many reasons: low cost and If the domain is available it’s most likely for a new idea, concept or business. I have to admit that I rarely find quality domains available, unless you are exceptionally lucky but then winning the lottery jackpot is also closer than finding an available valuable domain name. The domaining market is only getting more and more competitive.

Today, I registered a domain name based on what’s going on in the world Tattoos. I always wanted tattoos, but the big concern to me and I’m sure to millions of people is what happens if I’m not longer happy with it? How to remove it? and all the related questions.  There’s also a huge amount of people that cannot have tattoos because of religious beliefs. For example, in Islam and Judaism tattoos are forbidden. You cannot alter your body’s design in anyway, because it’s God’s artwork, and it’s not nice to alter it in any the way. Any changes or modifications is kind of a way to say: God you could much better, which is not the case to many believers. I’m one of those believers otherwise I’d have a tattoos.

While lurking today, I read an article about a new tattoos technology. In fact, it’s not really a new technology, but  it seems to be gaining more popularity: The dark light tattoos — They are tattoos that are made with a special UV ink. You cannot see them on the day time, until you get into darkness. This glowing in dark tattoos are a perfect for people with concerns, and I personally think they look much better. So it could be the answer to people that want to show their tattoos only in intimate places, night clubs, etc..  The minute I read about this, I was amazed and as a domainer (I’m not an expert and never claimed to be, I’m just an average person with such interest)  the first thing that jumped into my mind was the black light tattoos ink and domain. With a little search, I found out that the UV inks are already available on the market, and taht people are searching for them on google (according to their keyword tool). So naturally I checked out BlackLightTatoosInk.com and it was available, of course until I decided to register it and now it’s mine. There’s still other variations of this name available i.e: blacklighttatooink, blacklighttatoosinks, etc…

Of course there’s no guarantees that this domain will sell for sure or receive inquiries. I brought it up just for an example and if you are doing domaining it is the risk that you should know about. I’m also learning and experimenting few things and ways to build a decent portfolio. If you are looking to hand register domain names that could gain some value in the future, following the news, read many blogs and websites about new trends and concepts is very useful to snap that valuable domain.
